My name is Lyndsey Lannie and I live and work in the Fife coastal Town of Dalgety Bay, Scotland.
I studied Fine Art/Painting at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen graduating in 2003.
I use the traditional method of oil on canvas to create beautifully detailed images of the everyday. I have always been fascinated by the mundane and love giving importance to them using depth, detail, colour, light and mood. I do this over many hours using gentle brush strokes, layering and blending.
More recently I have been playing around with a nostalgic sweet treats that trigger happy memories and give a sense of comfort and belonging.
